Introduction to Section of Andrology (BSA)
The inaugural meeting of the BAUN Section of Andrology was held in
February 2005, initiated by Tom Ladds, and the
present committee were elected.
The meeting was an opportunity for
nurses working in Andrology to network and share
best practice. Those
elected for the committee have common goals:
- To
improve the standard of care for patients seeking
treatment within this speciality
- To act as
a voice for nurses working within this speciality
- To
address the deficit of lack of guidelines for
nurses who are or wish to practice in this
speciality
We
act on behalf of yourselves! We need feedback from you! We
welcome your opinions, suggestions and views. Is there
an issue that you feel we should be addressing
as a sub-section? Do
you want to get in touch with other nurses
working in Andrology? Do
you have examples of best practice to share
that you feel may benefit others? Please feel free to get
