Terms & Conditions

1. The award is open to all nurses caring for people who have a urological disorder within the United Kingdom
2. The award is available in one of four categories:
   • Research
   • Practice Development
   • Education in urological nursing
   • Travel
   Each application must indicate the category for which they are applying.
3. The maximum award available is £2000. Applicants must indicate the amount they seek up to this amount. Award monies are for the sole purpose of supporting the activities indicated in the original application form. The winner will be required to submit a record of how monies were spent by 1st October 2009.
4. Only one application may be submitted by an individual in any one year.
5. The judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. As a condition of receiving the award, the winner must agree to make a presentation on the benefits the award brought to his/her practice, at the annual conference of the British Association of Urology Nurses [BAUN]. The presentation will take place approximately 12 months after the receipt of the award. The winner receives a full delegate place at conference to include travel and accommodation.
7. Posting will not be accepted as evidence of receipt of applications and no responsibility is taken for lost or delayed entries.
