Welcome to the BAUN Section of Oncology.
The BAUN Section of Oncology aims to provide opportunities for education, support and networking for specialist nurses working in urology oncology.
The Section will meet three times a year. There is also an Oncology Day during BAUN Annual Conference.
Each educational meeting will have a urology oncology theme. Time will be allowed to give members the opportunity to network with each other, to facilitate gaining support and to informally share good practice with colleagues who have faced similar challenges in their own roles.
The Section also aims to be a resource to members to support the development of uro-oncology nurses new in post.
The Section is in the process of developing clinical guidelines. Any suggestions for the development of new guidelines are always welcome.
We welcome comments or suggestions for the benefit of the Section, future meetings or development of clinical guidelines.
