BAUN are aware of the impact of the new medtech guidelines and how they have effected some BAUN Members in gaining funding in order to attend this years BAUN Annual Conference and Exhibition 2018. We are delighted to offer funding for up to fifty delegates. Please see the terms and conditions below for details about who is eligible and how to apply.

Please read the terms and conditions very carefully. You will be asked to adhere to these as part of your application.

Membership Requirements
You must be a BAUN Member during the dates of conference.

Existing BAUN Members: If you are already a BAUN member, you are responsible for checking your membership expiry date. If you need to check the status of your BAUN Membership please contact BAUN@fitwise.co.uk

Non-Members: You can apply for a funded place as a non-member but you must be an active BAUN Member on 26th and 27th November 2018. You can join BAUN by clicking the "Join BAUN" link above.

 

Funding Breakdown
Funding supplied by BAUN covers a full place at conference for 2 x full days of conference including catering.

Accommodation
If required, you will be provided with a link to enable you to book accommodation at the Best Western Plus Connaught Hotel, Bournemouth. This is for a standard double room for one occupant for up to two nights, Sunday the 25th of November and Monday the 26th of November 2018 only. 


Travel - You must book your own travel but this will be reimbursed up to the value of £100 (including VAT). Copies of your receipts must be with Fitwise Management Ltd by 11th of December 2018. 

Funding does not apply to the Sunday workshops or include an Annual Awards Dinner ticket.

Confirmation of Funds Spent

Copies of receipts for purchases must be sent to Fitwise Management Ltd. These can be sent via email to events@fitwise.co.uk or posted to:

If your application for a funded place is successful, you will be sent a link to download a travel expense claim form. 


Confirmation of Attendance

You must have approved study leave from your manager prior to submitting your registration. 


Attendance at BAUN 2018 Annual Awards Dinner

You must register and attend the BAUN 2018 Annual Awards Dinner at the Ballroom within the Bournemouth Pavilion. Non-Attendance at Conference
If you are selected for a funded place and if you do not attend conference an invoice will be sent to you for the full cost of the conference place applied for plus any associated costs attached to your attendance i.e. cost of hotel accommodation. 

Early bird rates have been extended up until the 22nd of October 2018 to enable unsuccessful applicants time to register at the early bird rate. Previously scheduled to finish on 24.09.2018.

How to Apply

You must first apply to be selected for a BAUN Funded Delegate Registration Place for Conference 2018. If you meet all the criteria as highlighted in the above Terms and Conditions your application will be processed on a "first come, first served" basis. 

If your application is successful, a link to a registration site will be emailed to you for you to then process your registration.  This email will also contain a link to enable you to book your accommodation if required.Accommodation is not automatically booked as part of the Conference Registration process.
