Continence after prostate surgery

Sessions delivered by Margaret Macaulay.

This informative workshop is for urology nurse specialists and all health care professionals (HCP) supporting men being treated for prostate cancer who are likely to experience incontinence in the short or long term. Both men and HCPs have reported a lack of information and skills for managing incontinence; based on research from the Movember / Prostate Cancer UK-funded TrueNTH programme led by Mandy Fader, Professor of Continence Technology at the University of Southampton, this workshop will provide an update on aspects of incontinence management related to prostatectomy and the latest research on product development. It will introduce resources to inform health care professionals and to assist them in supporting their patients.

Workshop fees are £100 for BAUN members and £250 for non-members. These workshops remain fantastic value for money and are consistently well attended and evaluated by participants.

Timings: Registrations open from 10:30am. Sessions will begin at 11:00am with lunch at 12:00pm. Sessions will close at 5:00pm.
