“Diversity in Urological Nursing"
WORKSHOPS - Monday 25 October, CONFERENCE and EXHIBITION - Tuesday 26 & Wednesday 27 October
We were all disappointed not to deliver our annual conference in 2020 but are looking ahead to Edinburgh 2021 and looking forward to meeting with our colleagues once again in October as planned - we hope that you will save the date for #BAUN2021 ! We are, of course, mindful of the ongoing pandemic and will continue to review and adjust plans if necessary.
We want to assure you that we are doing everything to make this conference safe while still providing a worthwhile educational and networking event.
After extensive discussions with the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, we have made the decision to proceed with this year's conference in October - subject to government guidance.
We want to reassure you that by attending this year’s 'face-to'face' conference, you will have the same educational content and networking including our pre-conference workshops, abstracts, awards dinner and exhibition.
We want to encourage and welcome as many of you as possible in Edinburgh, however in order to do this as safely as possible, we are already provisioning for a hybrid element in the form of 'catch-up' TV to allow those who will be unable to join us physically to be able to access the conference afterwards .
This year, if you are a non-member registering to attend the physical conference we are including ONE YEAR'S INCLUSIVE MEMBERSHIP !

NEW FOR 2021 - WHAT IS CATCH-UP TV?
If you are unable to attend the event in person, you have the option to register for 'catch-up TV' which you can access from the comfort of your own home. By subscribing to 'catch-up TV' you will be able to access all presentations online and these will be made available online 10 days after conference for up to one year.
If you have registered to attend the physical event, you will also have access to the same online content after conference and this is included as part of your registration fees.
Please note that you will not be able to access the conference online as it happens live. You will have access to conference content 10 working days after the event has finished and will have access for up to one year.
Catch up-TV does not include access to workshops.
If you are registering for either physical event or catch-up TV, you cannot proceed with your registration until you have one of the following in place:
- Purchase order number to request an invoice;
- Credit/debit card to make payment online;
Email:Shona.email@example.com or Tel: 01506 292 026

BAUN acknowledges the limitations on funding for conference this year and will be looking at further opportunities where we can, to support this transition. So don’t let this put you off attending the main urology event of the year as there are many other alternatives that can be explored.
- The most straight forward way is self-funding
- Check if your own NHS Trust has received funding via a specific Educational Grant for the conference attendance
- If you have historically been funded by a specific company, be proactive and approach them yourself to see whether they have any educational grants on offer
If applicable, you must have funding in place prior to processing your registration.
CPD points will be awarded by the Royal College of Pathologists for this event. More details will be available soon
